NTA is likely to release JEE Main 2026 application form soon. Last year, the registration process began on October 28, 2025, around 06:00 PM, so you should stay alert for the official announcement.

National Testing Agency made an announcement of a major update in JEE Main 2026 registration process. To make the application simpler, accurate, and faster, the agency has introduced a system named Aadhaar-based auto-filling. This new feature will automatically fetch your personal details from the Aadhaar database. This process is designed to reduce manual errors and save a lot of time.

NTA has also advised all JEE Main 2026 aspirants to check and update their Aadhaar card details before starting the registration.

As per the public advisory NTA issued on October 19, 2025, details like your name, DOB, gender, and address will now be automatically filled from your Aadhaar card during the time of JEE Main 2026 application. However, you will still need to manually enter the details of your parents or guardians, as this information is not available by UIDAI.

Step 1: Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on “New Candidate Registration” to start the process.
Step 3: Complete the registration by providing the needed details and note the generated JEE Main 2026 application number.
Step 4: Log in using your credentials, fill in the remaining details, and upload the necessary documents.
Step 5: Make payment of JEE Main 2026 application fee through available online payment methods and submit the form.
Step 6: Save and print the confirmation page for your records.

What to Do In Case Aadhaar Name Mismatch with Class 10 Certificate During JEE Main 2026 Registration?

If you find a difference between the name mentioned on your Aadhaar card and class 10 certificate, you will be given an option by NTA to correct it directly through JEE Main portal. This feature will resolve such errors without delaying the application process of JEE Main 2026.
